Elders

Peter and his wife Gretchen served as missionaries for more than 25 years and have three grown children. He enjoys woodworking, cycling and volunteering in local mercy ministry. He appreciates that RCC emphasizes solid Biblical teaching and healthy Christian community.

Charlie grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta and, strongly influenced by his parents and grandparents, became a Christian at an early age. As a teenager, he came to understand that being a Christian meant more than just going to church on Sunday. It was then he began a life-long process of developing a deep, personal and ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ that grew to influence all elements of his daily life and decision making.

Charlie worked for 40+ years as a senior sales & marketing executive with companies such as Procter & Gamble, Frito-Lay and Coca-Cola. Retired now, he’s married to Trisha, his wife of 50 years and enjoys playing in Bluegrass jams, biking and spending time with his two grown daughters (Anna & Katie), their husbands and their eight grandchildren that live close by in Roswell.

Charlie & Trisha have been active members at RCC since the very early days when we met in the homes of our founders, more than 20 years ago. Trisha takes an active role in our women's ministry, while Charlie has served on our Worship Team for close to two decades and this is his second "tour of duty" as an Elder.

Matt has been attending and serving at Roswell Community Church since 2019, alongside his wife, Mary. They met in their early twenties while serving as youth volunteers at their local churches and were married in 1992. Matt is grateful for the opportunity to serve within the church and for the fellowship of believers at Roswell Community Church. He and Mary have three grown children, all of whom are married, and they are proud grandparents. In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, golfing, and working on do-it-yourself projects.
